Born in Budapest in 1957, André (or is it Andre?) has made a name for himself as an NYC hotelier, and by dating Uma Thurmann. He caught my attention because of this article in The Times Magazine, and The Independent even went so far as to name him "the king of America". According to The Times, his surname is "pronounced like the first two syllables of Bellagio."
